Under 20, 17 & 15 Indoor Championships
A fantastic couple of days for our Club athletes at the UK wide indoor championships. Lisa James picked up a gold medal in the U17 Womens Long Jump with a jump of 5.50m. Liam Clowes picked up a gold in the U20 Mens 200m running a time of 21.39s and so too did Josh Platt in the U17 Mens 200m running a time of 22.30s (pb of 22.16s in the heats). Adam Howell pulled off a bronze medal in the U17 Mens Triple Jump with a jump of 13.44m. Josh Platt narrowly missed out in qualifying for the U17 Mens 60m when he came third in his semi-final race. Lisa also ran well in the U17 Womens 300m and so too did Eleanor Simmons in the U20 Womens 400m. Niall Clowes threw 11.02m in the U15 Boys Shot Putt to come 5th place. Thanks to Chris for the photos.
