Club athletes turned out in force again for Round 3 of the North Staffs Cross Country League. The setting this time was Stafford Common and some great results ensure that athletes and teams hold their individual and team places in the league.
In the U11 Girls race, Rachel Fifer came in a spectacular 3rd place with Eve Haewood 16th, Emily Ashman 19th, Rebecca Males 20th and Liberty Hughes 32nd. The Team came in 4th place.
In the U11 Boys race, Jack Soulsby came in 7th, William Kesteven 10th, Harry Dobberson 17th and Jordan Sides 32nd. The team came in 3rd place.
In the U13 Girls race, Cara Gibbons came a brilliant 4th place with Annie Huntbach 7th, Freya Taylor-Hatswell 8th, Anna Cawdron 13th, Sian Walker 15th, Abigail Palin 23rd and Sophie Smith 29th. The team came in 1st place.
In the U13 Boys race, Jacob Brown came a good 5th, Tom Shenton 7th, James Howell-Jones 8th, Fred Dobberson 10th, Nathan Spencer-Hall 14th, Matt Hole 16th and Jack Scott 31st. The team came in 1st place.
In the U15 Girls race, Katie Lennon came in a good 12th, India Perris-Redding 15th and Lauren Whittaker 19th. The team came in 3rd place.
In the U15 Boys race, Luke Cockerton came in a good 7th, Robe Poole 9th, Josh Edge 11th and Reece Glithero 36th. The team came in 2nd place.
In the U17 mens race, Richard Owen came a splendid 5th and Bradley Smith 15th.
In the combined Junior Mens and Senior Mens race Chris Benett came 104th. In the Senior Mens race Andy Jones 107th, David Dobberson 123rd, Rob Huntbach 128th and Neil Fowler 172nd. The team came in 6th place in Division 2.
