Great team work won again for the Club as it stormed to a big margin victory in the first round of the Northern Senior League at Salford today, competing against Salford, Oldham, Chorley, Stockport and the Isle of Man. This is the first year the Club has participated in the league in response to a growing need for more competition for our U20 and Senior Sections that have come through our ranks. We have joined forces with Macclesfield Harriers as a UKA registered Composite team called Team Cheshire East Athletics to do this and what a success it looks like being. For those that can remember our early days of Young Athletes League team successes that started some three years ago, this has all the hallmaks of that team approach and spirit that brought us successive promotions. A big well done to all ours and Macc's athletes and special thanks to Duncan and Geoff who were the Team Managers and our Officials . Next Round is on the 26th May.
