Absolutely wonderful conditions greeted the many athletes gathered at Knight’s Grange, Winsford for the first round of the annual North Staffs Cross Country League competition. Club highlight was Jacob Brown’s win in the U17M race, leading from start to finish over a 6K course.With Eliot Nevill finishing 9th and James Howell-Jones 11th. CNAC now lead the U17M team competition.
Great performances too in the U15M category, Josh Betteley finishing 3rd with Fred Dobberson 7th and Arun Dight 12th, Owen Proctor 24th. The team is now 2nd after Wrexham.
In the U17W race, Anna Cawdron finished 4th with Freya Taylor-Hatswell 7th and Annie Huntbach in 9th. This puts the U17W in a 2nd team place.
In the U15W race, Cara Gibbons came 9th with Sophie Smith 13th, Catriona Cody 17th and Emma Stephen 20th. The Team is in 4th position.
In the U13B race, Jack Williamson was 8th, Will Kesteven 11th and Peter Selby 14th. Matthew Kenyon was 25th, Jordon Sides was 38th. Jamie Monks was 46th, Harrison Wright was 47th and Jack Wilne was 51st. The Team are currently 5th
In the U13G race, Katelyn Mooney was 5th, Sarah Dufour-Jackson 16th and Lucy Smith 18th. Ellie Grinnell was 20th. Zoe Leydon was 22nd, Hollie Smith was 24th, Hollie Illingworth was 26th, Mia Lowndes was 33rd, Charlotte Bell was 40th and Amelia Atkinson was 43rd. The Team is 4th
In the U11's Boys Shaun Jones was 10th, William Denfhy was 17th, Sean Sides was 22nd, Ben Basten was 40th, Ben Pettit was 42nd and Paul Kenyon was 47th. Team postion 4th.
In U11 Girls. Abbey Owen came 10th, Katie Holding was 18th, Megan Illingworth was 19th, Roise Meakin was 20th, Olivia Fowler was 26th and Anna Crighton was 27th. The Team are 3rd.
Senior Women. Well done to Lauren Whittaker who came 106th out of 160 runners. In the Senior Men Neil Fowler came 163rd and Rob Huntbach came 203rd out of 242 runners.
