Great performances by our Club athletes this weekend at Kingsway, Widnes in the 2011 North West League Sportshall Finals, secured four out of six championship wins and a second and third place. There were also many gold, silver and bronze medals won by our athletes in the individual events.

In the morning’s competitions the U11 Boys and the U11 Girls both won their team competitions by considerable margins beating the other teams who had qualified for this final from West Cheshire, Halton & Frodsham, Stockport, Liverpool and Southport & Waterloo.
The U13 Boys and U15 Boys went on to do the same in the afternoon against strong opposition from West Cheshire, Liverpool, Stockport, Halton & Frodsham and Deeside.
The U13 Girls came a close 2nd place and the U15 Girls a close 3rd place.
