Several athletes from Crewe & Nantwich AC ran the Air Products 5km fun run on a sunny but cold Easter Sunday. Jacob Brown won for the second year running on a newly accurately measured 5 kilometre course in a personal best time of 18:07, over 2 minutes ahead of his nearest rival. Second home for the club in a new personal best time was Cara Gibbons finishing 7th in 21:31. Jamie Monks ran a great race to come 9th in a time of 22.04. Sophie Smith had a great battle for 10th place with Owen Proctor, Sophie winning the dual in an exciting sprint for the line in a personal best time of 22:12, just 3 seconds ahead of Owen. Freya Taylor-Hatswell finished 15th in 24:21, followed by an unwell Annie Huntbach in 16th with a time of 24:27. Holly and Lucy Smith completed the CNAC entourage in 26th and 31st places respectively in times of 25:27 and 27:01.
